Ascentra Invites Santa to Deliver Angel Tree Gifts for Boys & Girls Club of the Mississippi Valley
Several Quad Cities children will feel the holiday spirit this year thanks to the support of Ascentra Credit Union.

Children from the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Valley requested toys and clothing through an Angel Tree coordinated by the organization. For the third consecutive year, Ascentra has agreed to fulfill those gift requests. Santa Claus, along with Ascentra staff volunteers, will again be on hand to surprise the children with their gifts.
“The holidays are about coming together and caring for one another,” said Linda Andry, President and CEO of Ascentra Credit Union. “By providing Angel Tree gifts to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Valley, we hope to bring smiles to children’s faces and show them that their community believes in them.”
“On behalf of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Valley, we are grateful for the continued partnership with Ascentra Credit Union and their generous sponsorship of this year's Angel Tree campaign,” said Torri Smith, Chief Executive Officer, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Valley. “This support means more than just providing gifts - it's a reflection of the values of compassion, generosity and community that we hold dear. Thanks to Ascentra Credit Union and all those who have contributed, we are able to brighten the holiday season for children and families. Ascentra’s kindness helps to create moments of joy and hope that will stay with them throughout the year. This partnership exemplifies what it means to be part of a caring community - when we come together, we create opportunities for everyone to thrive. We are proud to be working alongside Ascentra Credit Union to make a lasting difference in the lives of the children and families that we serve."
Credit union employees will distribute gifts to children during the club’s holiday party Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, from 5 to 5:30 p.m.
