A: CURewards is a rewards program where you earn points for using your Ascentra Visa® Personal and Business Debit or Credit card. You can then redeem your points for cash back, merchandise, travel or donation to the Ascentra Credit Union Foundation.

A: You can view your points in Digital Banking by selecting “Cards”, then “Manage Cards”. 

A: Your card will automatically begin earning points once activated, but to view and redeem them you will need to register each card at our CURewards website by setting up a username and password.

• Your Personal or Business Debit cards automatically started earning points from debit transactions once you activated your card.
• Your Personal or Business Credit cards will start earning points when you receive your new credit card and it is activated.

A:

Debit cards:

• Personal debit cards earn 1 point for every $3 spent.
• Business debit cards earn 1 point for every $15 spent.

Credit cards start earning points once your new credit card is activated.

• Personal credit cards earn 1.5 points for each $1 spent.
• Business credit cards earn 1 point for every $5 spent.

There is no difference in points whether the transaction is PIN or signature based.

Points earned will be added to your total on the next business day.

A: Log in to CURewards to view your earned points and redeem them for cash back, merchandise, travel or donation to the Ascentra Credit Union Foundation.

A: Card points are earned per card. Therefore, if you have a debit card and your significant other has a debit card on the same account, CURewards will consider these two separate rewards accounts. Both cards will need to be registered with separate, unique usernames and will earn their own points.

A: You will need to create a unique username for each separate card. You may use the same email address during registration.

A: Yes, purchases made using either of these payment programs will earn points.

A: Unused CURewards points will expire after four calendar years from the date those points were earned. (e.g. points earned on Dec. 31, 2025 will expire on Dec. 31, 2028).

A: A maximum of 200,000 points per year, per card, can be earned.

A: Yes, business accounts that have an Ascentra Visa® Business Debit or Credit card are eligible to earn CURewards points.

A: Yes, you can use a mobile device to access the CURewards website and to view your rewards account.

A: Ascentra Visa® Debit - Savings Only cards do not earn points. Because they are limited to ATM transactions only, they do not qualify as a purchase or retail transaction and will not earn points.
