Great activities, savings incentives, learning opportunities, and tons of fun!
If you are within the age range of infant to 7 years old, then you can open a base share savings account with an adult and automatically become a member of the Jumpin' George Kids Club. All existing credit union members within this age category listed as the primary account holder on their savings account are automatically a member of the Jumpin' George Kids Club.
This program teaches the value of saving and provides rewards for the children reaching set goals. As you reach each savings goal, Jumpin' George leaps into action with gifts to reward young savers. Throughout the program, kids are encouraged to save money and taught the value of knowing about finances. For each accumulated $100.00 saved, our club members earn a free gift.
Sometime during the club members birthday month, Jumpin' George will send them a birthday card and they can bring it in for a free gift.
Teaching Your Preschooler About Spending and Saving.
Children learn about money from many sources. Long before they enter school, they observe adults using money and buying things. They watch television daily and see thousands of commercials each year. Like it or not, money is a part of your preschooler's life.
For more information, activities and resources to help educate your preschooler, visit the Thrive by Five Web site.
