Whether you are purchasing a home or fixing up your current home, Ascentra Credit Union offers several different types of loans to help you with fixed and variable interest rates. The credit union makes home loans within a 100-mile radius of Bettendorf, Iowa. Requests for home loans beyond the 100-mile radius will be reviewed by the credit union's credit committee. Ascentra Credit Union is an Equal Housing Lender.
Free Pre-Qualification
We can help you determine how much of a home is affordable to your economic situation. This will provide you an estimated monthly payment, including taxes and insurance, giving you peace of mind knowing what you can afford and providing a good idea on whether you would receive loan approval.
Pre-Approval
We can provide pre-approval through a credit history check and verification of your income.
First Mortgage Loans
- Make the "Great American Dream" come true when you purchase your new home with a First Mortgage Loan from Ascentra Credit Union. Mortgage loans can also save you money when refinancing your home.
- Choose a low variable or fixed interest rate.
- Finance your home for up to 30 years.
- Borrow up to 95% of the appraised value or selling price.
- Several options from which you can choose:
- 1/1 Adjustable Rate Mortgage (A.R.M.) - The interest rate is fixed for one year and adjusts annually during the term of the loan.
- 3/3 Adjustable Rate Mortgage (A.R.M.) - The interest rate is fixed for three years and adjusts every three years thereafter.
- 5/1 Adjustable Rate Mortgage (A.R.M.) - The interest rate is fixed for five years and adjusts annually thereafter.
- 10/1 Adjustable Rate Mortgage (A.R.M.) - The interest rate is fixed for ten years and adjusts annually thereafter.
- Fixed Rate Mortgage - The interest rate stays the same throughout the term of the loan.
