Paul Lensmeyer, President & CEO
Paul Lensmeyer has been President & CEO of Ascentra Credit Union since April 1993. The Wisconsin native has more than 35 years of experience in the financial industry. Before assuming his current position he served as President of Foundry & Municipal Employees Credit Union in East Moline, IL for nine years.
He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
Paul is involved in a variety of community activities; among them is serving as a Board Member of the Iowa Corporate Central Credit Union since 1996, as well as past Chairman. He is a member and past President of Iowa Quad Cities Rotary, Board member of the Quad City Chamber of Commerce, and Board Member of the Scott County Regional Authority. Paul also served as Chair of the Bettendorf Library Foundation where he was a Director for six years.
Becky L. Hansen, Executive Vice President of Compliance and Product Development
Becky joined the management team of Ascentra when Members Choice Community Credit Union merged with Ascentra Credit Union in 2010. Having been with Members Choice since 1985, Becky had served as their CEO since 1995. During her tenure as CEO the credit union quadrupled its asset size and dramatically increased its product and service offerings.
Becky received her Bachelors of Business Administration degree from St. Ambrose University, Davenport, IA and her Masters of Organizational Management degree from Ashford University, Clinton, IA. She is a 1998 graduate of CUNA Management School and earned her Credit Union Compliance Expert certification in 2003. In 2011 Becky received the Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist designation. She was a gubernatorial appointee to the Credit Union Review Board for the State of Iowa for nine years and has served on various Iowa Credit Union League task forces.
Becky serves on the Technology Team at her church, Harvest Bible Chapel and enjoys volunteering at King’s Harvest Clothing Ministry.
Joanne Boozer, Executive Vice President Human Resources and Facilities Operations
With over 40 years of experience, Joanne Boozer is the Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Facilities Operations at Ascentra Credit Union. She directs the daily office operations and manages human resources and training. Her experience with Ascentra Credit Union includes her first position as Administration Assistant to the President & CEO, Loan Servicing, Vice President of Lending, Vice President of Finance, and being promoted to her current position in 1993. Prior to joining Ascentra in 1988, she had 20 years of financial experience at Northwest Bank and Trust Company as a Bookkeeping Clerk, Loan Administrator and Systems Officer.
She attended the Iowa Bankers Association School for Banking Administration where she majored in controllership.
Joanne has received awards for financial excellence including the Edward A Filene Award (1989), Friedrich W. Raiffeisen Award (1989), and the Roy F. Bergengren Award (1992) from the Iowa Credit Union League and Credit Union National Association, Inc. (CUNA). Joanne has received several management awards from the Iowa Credit Union League and the Credit Union National Association, Inc. ranging from basic to the diamond and sapphire awards. In addition, presidential certification awards ranging from the Washington Award up to and including the Grant Award presented by the Iowa Credit Union League and Credit Union National Association, Inc.
Joanne is an active member of the CUNA Human Resource Council and the CUNA Operations, Sales and Service Council. Her community activities have included Big Brother Big Sisters Lunch Buddy Program, United Way, John Lewis Coffee Shop and fundraising for Children’s Miracle Network.
Dale Owen, Executive Vice President, Chief Lending Officer
With over 20 years of experience, Dale Owen is the EVP, Chief Lending Officer and joined Ascentra Credit Union in August 1999. In his position at the credit union, Dale coordinates all lending and collection activity, directs new product development for lending products and services; and supervises the Call Center, Credit, Collection and Mortgage departments.
His 20 years of financial experience includes consumer loan officer for the former First National Bank of Moline, branch manager for Brenton Bank, Davenport, home equity manager and assistant cashier at Bank One Quad Cities, Moline, and mortgage loan representative for Marquette Bank, Galesburg.
He received his Master's degree in public administration from Drake University, Des Moines, IA, and Bachelor's degree in public administration from Augustana College, Rock Island, IL. He is in the process of completing his Certified Chief Executive (CCE) designation through the Credit Union Executive Society (CUES) which encompasses curriculum at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Graduate School, Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management and the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. He also has two Associate degrees from Black Hawk College, located in Moline, IL.: in Marketing & Management, and Banking & Finance. In addition he has earned American Institute of Banking Diplomas in Commercial Lending, Consumer Lending, General Banking and Real Estate Lending, and earned Certification from CUNA Mutual and the University of Wisconsin School of Business in Business Lending and Credit Analysis.
Dale is actively involved in the community serving as President of the Iowa Credit Union Foundation and on the board of directors for Quad City DollarWise. He is also involved with the Bettendorf Kiwanis Club and the Augustana College and Drake University Alumni Associations. He has served on the CMGMI National Insight Panel, Iowa Credit Union League Payday Lending Task Force, past president and member of the Great River Chapter of Credit Unions, past Finance Committee Chair of the Two Rivers Methodist Church, past treasurer and board member of the Davenport Neighborhood Housing Service and past board member for the Quad City Credit Association. He has also been involved in the community as a volunteer for CMN Credit Union Night with the River Bandits Benefit coordinator, Credit Union CMN Golf Outing Fundraising event committee member, Junior Achievement, United Way of the Quad Cities Area, Boy Scouts of America, and the Boys & Girls Club.
His awards and recognition include the National Lending Award presented by CUNA, Iowa Credit Union League's Cooperative Spirit Award, and QC Mayor's DollarWise Outstanding Professional Contribution Award.
Brad Knutson, Chief Technology Officer
With over 25 years of experience, Brad Knutson is the Chief Technology Officer and joined the credit union in 1989. With over 20 years at the credit union, Brad has held various positions, including Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Operations, Bookkeeper, Finance Department Supervisor, and most recently the Chief Technology Officer. In his current position, he directs the credit union’s Information Systems department and business continuity planning. The department is responsible for all computer operations, telephone operations, mainframe systems, information security, and much more.
Before joining the credit union he had six years financial experience working for Household Finance, United Bank in Des Moines, and Lloyd’s Plan in Davenport.
Brad received his Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration from Wartburg College in Waverly, IA. He has also taken post-graduate classes in marketing through the University of Iowa.
His community activities have included the following: co-founder of the Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program Chapter in the Quad Cities, Quad Cities Youth Conference, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boy Scouts of America, Project Ready, girls' softball coach, Bix-7 volunteer, and John Deere Classic volunteer.
Linda Andry, Chief Financial Officer
With over 17 years of accounting experience, Linda Andry is the Chief Financial Officer and joined Ascentra Credit Union in 2005. In this position Linda manages the credit union’s finance department, plays a significant role in Asset Liability Management, and handles all of the financial reporting for the credit union. She is the liaison to the credit union’s external auditors as well as the Credit Union Division for the State of Iowa.
Her over 18 years of accounting experience includes financial analyst for the former Bank One Quad Cities and Senior Accountant for Bituminous Insurance Companies.
Linda earned her Bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University in 1993 and her CPA designation in 1996.
Linda is actively involved in the community as a board member and the Treasurer Christ’s Family Day Care in Davenport, IA. Linda has also served as the Treasurer for the Great River Chapter of Iowa Credit Unions. Additional community involvement includes CMN (Children’s Miracle Network) Credit Union Night with the River Bandits event coordination, QC Flames Credit Union Night coordination, Credit Union CMN Golf Outing, Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteer, Quad City Hockey Association volunteer, and Quad City Ice Eagles Travel Hockey program.
Jennifer Naeve, Vice President of Marketing & Public Relations
With over 13 years of experience in the marketing and public relations field, Jennifer Naeve is the Vice President of Marketing & Public Relations, recently joining the credit union team in 2012. Her responsibilities at the credit union include internal and external communications, marketing research, advertising, promotions, and public relations.
Jennifer received her bachelor’s degree from Ashford University with a major in organizational management and holds an associate’s degree in marketing. Her experience in marketing and public relations management comes from healthcare, non-profit and promotions industries.
With a desire to give back to the community, Jennifer serves on the Central Community School District Board of Education and is the founder and event organizer of DeWitt Just Irish Enough Parade and St. Baldrick’s Fundraiser which raises funds for Children’s Cancer Research. She is a member of the Quad Cities Women’s Connection and a member of the CUNA Marketing Council.
