Mortgage Loan Officer Shawn Wright, an email to her stated:

I worked with Doug on his new truck loan---he was in the area so he decided to stop in and talk about setting up his automatic payments. After we got done with that, he had me calculate a payment to refinance his current mortgage---which is a rural development loan (I knew nothing). I told Doug that you would be his resident expert in Clinton and gave him your extension----he said he knew you and that you were wonderful! You helped him even when he wasn’t able to go with us originally ---he said that you took the time and helped him a bunch “even when she knew I wouldn’t be financing with the credit union”. So just wanted to let you know that Doug is a big fan! Way to go Shawn!!!

I apologize for my tardiness in sending this thank you note. I want to commend the loan department, and particularly Shawn Wright for her diligent work and patience in securing the mortgage for the house I purchased in May. Shawn's initiative in obtaining information and processing the initial paperwork while I was still in Arizona was much appreciated, and her attention to detail was outstanding. I also want to thank Priscilla Jackson for her help in the finalization of the paperwork while Shawn was working in Clinton. An organization is only as successful as the people it employs. I am also a member of the large Desert Schools Credit Union in Phoenix and you can be assured that although Ascentra Credit Union may not be the largest, in my opinion, it is the most successful financial institution I have ever encountered.

Last Friday night after work I ended up at Frank’s Pizza in Bettendorf. It was an orange Friday and I still had my orange Friday shirt on. A guy walked up to me and said ‘do you work there?’ I replied yes and he wanted to know which office….we then had a discussion about mortgages, the rates, his mortgage and his rate……and then he said, ‘well, I just got a new car loan with Jeff at the Bettendorf office. He was really great to work with. You people really have pleasant employees and your service is great!’ Way to go Jeff!!!
