Darcy Anderson, Account Representative, and Aaron Connor, Branch Manager, received the following thank you:
As the branch manager for Ascentra, I want to extend a note of thanks to an employee by the name of Darcy who works in the Call Center on Grant Street. My husband made a purchase on Tuesday and mistakenly used his debit card and then canceled this transaction right away. Unfortunately the business completed a refund versus a cancelation and this caused the debit to be taken out of our account and not canceled. I spoke with Darcy on Wednesday morning when I discovered that this had occurred. The credit failed to again come through yet today and I again contacted Darcy. She went above and beyond and researched this including calling the business for further information. She then promptly followed up with me and we monitored the situation through today, and finally by day end the credit came back through our account.
As a manager and working with many customers throughout my day, I understand how demanding it can be. So many times staff go that extra mile and are not recognized often enough. I want to take this opportunity as a customer to thank Darcy for her efforts today going above and beyond. Your leadership is an above plus for this company. This is what makes Ascentra a first class business and why we continue to do our business with the Ascentra family.
Joni Kaasa, Senior Account Officer, received a thank you card that stated:
Thank you! Without you, our trip would never have gone through. I feel you are an angel sent into our lives. God Bless! -These members were unable to book their hotel room since they don't believe in credit cards and Patricia was having trouble with the online registration. Joni booked their room and used her own credit card. When the bill came in, they paid Joni back. They were extremely grateful that Joni would use her own credit card to help them out.

I needed some advice on some Christmas money that I was getting for my family, which did take a while. I'd just like to let you know how patient and very helpful that Rocio, Kim and Catherine was. I like going to the one on W. 3rd. and Division as the girls that work there are always very friendly.
Aaron Connor, Branch Manager, and Priscilla Jackson, Branch Manager, both received the following thank you:
Huge thanks go out to Aaron Conner and Priscilla Jackson for helping me with my car loan this week. After my beloved little Saturn died and couldn?t be revived, I was forced to look for a replacement vehicle in a very short time frame. The first person I called was Aaron, who walked me through the entire application process, and was available by phone while I was out test-driving to answer any questions I had. The following day, Priscilla helped me with all the paperwork to be able to purchase the Sonata, and all the available options I had for financing. And, she explained Gap [insurance] to me, which I never really understood. What could have been a bigger nightmare was made calmer and easier by our wonderful branch managers who basically held my hand through this process. Thanks to Aaron and Priscilla for all they do?it makes me very glad to be part of this organization. Whether I made the right car decision is yet to be seen, but I know I made the right decision for my financial needs.
Laurie Bruggenwirth, Branch Manager, received the following thank you:
My husband and I were looking for a new vehicle. We found one we liked and were getting ready to deal on when the dealer came back to inform us that we had a salvaged title on our van according to Carfax. To our surprise, we were speechless. We knew there must be some mistake, but needless to say, the ?deal? went south on that vehicle. The next morning, Laurie helped us and knew exactly who to call, what forms were needed and the steps needed to clear it. As we suspected, it was an error on the DMV?s part when I renewed my license and registration on the annual date. They made a key stroke error and there was no salvaged title. Some car dealers live and breathe by Carfax reports now and had we not gotten that cleared up so quickly, we would have had a lot of other headaches. Thank you to Laurie for being so knowledgeable and going above and beyond to help us with this issue. This situation was resolved much sooner than it would normally have taken.
